The class started reading a book call Wringer. Wringer means:

person shooting pigeons, if they re not dead they wring the neck of the pigeon.

My opinion of the book: I find that cruel. They kill 100,000 pigeons.

Holes

6B is reading a new class novel! It is called Holes and is written by Louis Bachar. Everybody likes it and we might watch the movie based on the book, once we are done. It seems cool and the chapters are short so we can have more time to read it. We are also reading a novel called Wringer by Jerry Spinelli in guided reading. So that's it for this week.

Mount Tourbillon

What a fun and relaxing day...sunshine, speeding down the hill on tubes, laughing with friends, being towed up the mountain! We earned this trip because of all our work recycling.
