The Search for the Lost Cave

This April Book was heavy with suspense. It wasn't the kind of suspense that was scary, it was an enjoyable suspence. In every chapter something happended that would be funny or would completely change the suspense ex: Because they didn't find the cave.

The whole family came back from vacation, after they had to leave because they had to find a cave in Montana. There was a Rodeo Festival in Montana , they met a woman who had a great-grandfather who wrote a dairy about the cave. With the help of the book they found the cave.

When the family went to the Rodeo Festival it reminded me when I was at my soccer tournament. When our game was finished we stayed to watch the next game. I and my friend went to buy ourself a hot-dog. Second Connection: At the end when everyone got their cookies it reminded me; Last summer when I played soccer everyone got a Mr.Freeze because everyone had put effort like the book everyone got a cookie because everyone had put an effort for searching the cave.

Rudy Miller was here. Unfortunately

I Want To Go Home! by Gordon Korman is a really funny book! Its about a sarcastic boy of age 12 (Rudy Miller) who really HATES camp. But his parents are forcing him to go to Camp Algonkian (Alcatraz as Rudy calls it). So Rudy and his friend Mike Webster try to escape.

I truly loved this book because Rudy is very sarcastic, just like me. The author Gordon Korman constantly makes jokes about: the camp, the camp director Mr. Warden, and especially his camp counseller; Chip.
I also really liked the ending, but, I won't tell you that. Rudy Miller is really the most sarcastic and bizarre character I ever read about. He's really good at sports, but he doesn't want to play sports. Bizarre right?
I think that the funniest scene is when Rudy becomes the camp director. I give this book 5 stars! To find out about how Rudy became the camp director, read I Want To Go Home!
