Miss Beaty gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Next week, Miss Beaty will go on vacation (lucky her) to Walt Disney (lucky her again). We all wish her a very good time with her family even though we don't want her to leave.

I hope that with the subtitute, we will be very nice and responcible (hopefully) so when Miss Beaty will come back she will keep her nice smile on her face like we like her!

6b rememberance day

This year 6b was invited to go to the Croix du souvenir. It was very fun . 3 people in the class were chosen to read a poem and they had the chance to hold doves and shake the hand of Jean Charest, Regis Labaume, and some veterans. We were supposed to shake their hands, too, but we did not .
We were given real poppies to put around the Croix du souvenir.

My favourite part of that day was when they shot the cannon .

Some people were very emotional when they were thinking of all the people who lost their lives to make this wourld a better place to live.

class 6bs haunted house.

6b is doing our very own haunted house. Everyone is very excited. Yesterday we went to go visit the kindergarten room; that's where we will be doing the haunted house. Today we are going to do the groups. We all have very scarey fun ideas. when it is done hopefully nobody will cry or be too scared! But I'm sure we will all have fun acting and building!

Should elementary school students be allowed to wear makeup? What do you think and why?

The Big Soup!!!

On Friday the 16th of October 6B brought vegetables to make a vegetable soup. We had carrots, celery, tomatoes, potatoes,and all kinds of other vegetables. Some people brought seeds such as barley.

The soup was delicious! Some people took THREE bowls!!! We had also had crackers with the soup.I thought it was a good idea to make a class soup!!!!

Rockets Away!

At Mont Cosmos last Friday, when the students finished making their rockets, all of 30 cm in height, I never expected that they would explode and take off into the sky as they did! Very cool!

Class So Far (3 weeks)

These past weeks so far have been great!We started many projects reading and recycling .The reading is being presented in our 6B hall at the left side.

The recycling project will be presented in other classes: how to recycle and why we should recycle !

The first day of school I was so happy to have came back. I was glad because I had the teacher I wanted; all my friends were in my class and I got my favourite seat!

I hope that I have a great year!
